Crochet-Along Clue 1

Finished my first clue over the weekend... looking at some of the photos, I see that I am going to have to do the blocking... been crocheting for over 40 years and have never blocked any of my work!! I am pleased with the result and my color choices. Hope this week's clue gives us a little more work, so it does not go as fast!

I've finished 8 of my squares, but they aren't laying flat at all. I can make them lay flat if I really flatten them out, but otherwise they're pretty warped. Will blocking help this? I haven't really run into this problem before when it mattered, so I'm not sure what to do!

Yes blocking will help them lay nice and flat.
It sure helped mine!

Haha, I'm a day ahead of myself! I thought clue number 2 should have been posted by now, and then I realized that today is only Tuesday. Sheesh!!!

Oh my gosh, I am working so hard to pace myself so that I don't finish everything before the next clue. Though I suppose, at worst, I just get multiple projects going... right?!

I'm doing 2 CAL and a babette for my soon to be adopted nephew. I have lots of time to crochet so having 3 going shouldn't be a problem.

What is a babette? My daughter is having a baby and I might want to do a babette if I knew what it was.

Finished Clue #1 for CAL so excited and so much fun. Have 5 out 8 of KAL done hoping to finish before the next clues come out. Love the signature can't wait to add the knitting one. Have been spending time reading here instead of knitting which is also been lots of fun. Off to finish hopefully
