I don't see any difference between the two... so why block? :rainy:

My local store didn't have the colours I wanted so I ordered on line but maybe I'll go see if they have a colour that I'll like better than the Butter.

Either way .. someone's getting yellow mittens or slippers or something .. LOL .. but it's not going in this afghan.

I agree with heyheycrochet. I went with Sundrift instead of Butter because it's too yellow and instead of Birch White because I didn't want white as my MC. Sundrift feels like it was made to go with the rest of the Simplicity collection IMHO.

yeahhh .. I agree with you and heyhey ... funny thing, my instincts told me I wouldn't like the Butter in this mix but I followed the palette thinking they're the pro's they know better .. :notworthy:

Should have stuck with my gut. Still, I'm very happy with the other colours and glad I only bought two balls of the Butter. It's an easy fix with only one square made so far.

My total palette is Greek Sea, Aqua Frost, Birch White, ?? and Colonial Beige in that order. I think the Sundrift would be a perfect fit. Day off work tomorrow so a good time to go shop and sort that out before the next clue arrives!

Yippee, I finished the first clue's "squares". I couldn't believe how quick they went up. :inlove:

I can't wait until tomorrow to receive the next clue, and hopefully will use my fifth color. My colors are beige, colonial blue, navy, brown and then dark red for the pop. I couldn't find the Bernat Waverly yarn in my stores, so using another brand that had comparable colors.

Ok. I forgot to take a pic before I left for work, so I had my son take this for me. He…of course…has no concept of detail. So he just layed them out and took the pic. No smoothing or flattening. They really are flat and square. I promise. LOL.
