Crochet-Along Clue 2: Spoilers and Photos

It took me a little longer than last week, but I really enjoyed the challenge.

Gosh, I don't know. I just roll with the punches, I guess. If I see that something isn't working, I try to find a way to MAKE it work! So, switching hooks doesn't bother me.

All I can say is that I have learned more about crocheting and knitting in under seven weeks than I have in decades! No joke. I have always been a lonely crocheter/occasional knitter, but sharing these crafts with others has been inspirational and educational. The best part has been observing other people expressing their enjoyment. Looking forward to more learning

I am so glad the forum is here. My motif for clue 2 came out small too. Nice to know I am not the only one. I will start the next with a bigger needle!

O.k. I finished one but as you can see in the picture it is much much smaller then it should be....it's only 9x9 instead of 11x11 I'm using the same hook as the first clue. Should I use a bigger hook for this clue?

Mine is MUCH too small, too, and I had gone up to a size I hook to start with. I tried going clear up to a K, and it's still too small, so I tried adding a DC row and a SC row and it now comes out the right size, so I hope that's an acceptable way to do it. It better be, because I sure don't see any other possibilities.

finished my final block for the CAL, yeah me, now I just need to block them, and work on the KAL, it is taking more time.

Yay! Just finished clue #2. I managed to make mine come out right on size, but that's probably because I tend to crochet quite loose. Love seeing all the colour combos!!
