Vicxen99 ... I posted a response to your question but can't see it so will try to do it again! To block or not to block seems to be a personal choice ... Shandeh in a recent post mentioned that she wasn't blocking and there are likely many with her in that choice. It may not be necessary if the motifs lie flat and are of uniform size ... I never used to block anything but did do my blocks for the 2010 CAL because they seemed to vary slightly ... the steam seems to relax the fibers and make them lie flatter ... also may make them a bit softer, if that is an issue ... although this Waverly yarn is certainly very soft on its own! Many feel that the seaming together tends to pull them into the right configuration ... a personal choice!

Bernat recommends blocking, just to make the motifs lay straight and even, which will make it easier to seam.

Some forum members are choosing not to block, because they are happy with the look of their motifs.

So, it's your decision if you want to block or not. It's YOUR blanket - enjoy working on it.

I finished clue 2, I chose to do what someone else suggested and slip stitched to the top of the dc and I like how it looks. I hate having to fasten off and join as I am not that good at it. Here are my motifs. The first is my color a the second is color my main color

I love your colors, wish I was brave enough to go with a red color.
