Note: when the pattern called to finish off and then reattach the yarn somewhere else I just slip stitched to the correct spot and started the next round from there.

Yay! Glad that someone posted a pic of "not fastening off" work. I want to do it that way (haven't started my blocks yet) but wanted to see if it looked different than the ones fastened off. I can't even tell where your slip stitches are!

Everyones squares look so good!! Im jealous of those who were able to get theirs done already! I just got home from work but now I have to do mother stuff (dinner, homework). I wont beable to start on my squares until bedtime for the kids. Bummer.
The grass ISNT always greener on the other side.
Be happy with what you have and you will be happy your whole life.

I really like this clue! I had to frog rounds a few times but thankfully with this clue a mistake is evident by the next round. I'm happy that in the end it came out to fit the template perfectly.I started off with my main yarn from CAL #2 because it was the closest yarn to me when I sat down on the couch. LOL

Wow - I finally got through round 6 of my first one and you're already done with all 6. :bravo: Makes the rest of us look like slackers. :P

I'm obsessed with crochet right now. Well actually have been obsessed with it for a few years now. I guess spending time and $$ on crochet isn't the worst thing I could be doing with my time.

I have a question if someone can answer it. Is this block suppose to be two colors??? The reason for my asking is , since it fastens off after the 3rd row. It seems that it may be.
I just want to make sure before I go to far.

I view the money spent on yarn and being able to create something beautiful with it as money and energy well spent. It's far better to be addicted to crocheting than drugs or alcohol.

This is my first "along" of any kind - crochet, knit, quilt. So far, I'm really enjoying it. It's so much fun to follow the pattern directions, without knowing what the end result is supposed to look like, and then the reward for me has been when I complete the block and seeing that I've done it correctly when I compare my block to other crocheters. I wish I hadn't soaked my camera in some sort of mystery liquid so that I could take pictures of my blocks to share. I'm enjoying seeing the different colors and color combinations being used by other crocheters, and I'm so anxious to see the end results, not just of my own work, but everyone's. I think it's pretty cool how we can all begin with the same color palates, and still turn out something that's unique and individual. For mine, I chose the "Past Perfect" Waverly color palate, using Mauve Glow as my main color, and Princess, Celedon, Breath of Blue, and Beautiful Blue as my coordinating colors. I'm enjoying my participation in this Crochet-Along so much that I'm purchasing more yarn so I can participate in the Knit-Along, too. And I'll probably also purchase the coordinating Waverly fabric and then look for a Quilt-Along to participate in. Obviously, I'm hooked (pun intended)! Image

Thank you, so I am not the only one who is thinking this way.
If that is the case I am wondering if I should use color A for the MC block and MC for the color A block.
Since that was not made quite clear , I am a little confused.
