Since that was not made quite clear , I am a little confused.
:reading: :hrmm:

The pattern instructions read "Make 4 with A, and 2 with MC". Does that help at all?

Bernat is recommending that you leave 12 inch tails at the outside edge for seaming later.
Some of us are not doing that, though. So, it's your decision.

Weave your centre end in and then if you make the break and rejoin weave those in also. Leave a 12 inch tail after the final stitch. The outside tail gets left as a tail. This way you can use that one for joining later.

Am I in danger of running out?? I dont usually crochet so loosely and I am afraid I will run out of my color before I finish the afghan!! :helpme:

You should be fine. After this clue, you will be saving the rest of color A for part of the seaming later.

Just be sure to repeat the parts in the parentheses two times.

Here is round 5 written out completely:

Slip Stitch in first chain 5 space.
Chain 4 (counts as double crochet and chain 1)
1 double crochet, chain 2, 1 double crochet, chain 1, 1 double crochet, chain 1 - in the same chain 5 space

*1 double crochet, chain 1, 1 double crochet, chain 2, 1 double crochet, chain 1, 1 double crochet, chain 1 in next chain 5 space.
Repeat from * around.

Join with slip stitch to third chain of the chain 4.

yep i had the same question, but i figured i had to be ok since my sizes are spot on. I had enough left over of skein 1 to do almost to the break in round 3...irritated the heck out of me that i couldn't QUITE make it...isn't that the way it always goes?

Thanks I will try it again and see if it works better this time.

I also didn't get 11", but it does fit inside the template, so I am guessing it correct.
