I realized that on the Tr2tog in the 5th round, I actually did 2 Tr together in the first required space and 2 Tr in the second space instead of one in each side together. Since it does not seem to make any difference with the size of the motif and since I actually like the way it looks, I am planning to leave it and do the others to match. I learned more that one thing from this clue!!!

wow! that does look nice! I would do the same and make them all match! :notworthy:

Thanks--that is the plan when I finally get time to work on the next one.

My Blocks So Far

Postby frozenscout » Thu Mar 01, 2012 5:54 pm

I am halfway through Clue #3. I am so glad it is working out better than my Clue #2. Using the same hook that I used for Clue #2 they are coming out at least 10in! Hurray! By the way, I LOVE the idea of using rods for blocking, now my double pointed knitting needles have found a new use.

Looks like it is time for me to invest in some double point needles...what a great idea for blocking!

I wish I could me working on clue3. But i'm stuck on clue 2. It is not working out for me. I'm a benninger and I'm follow the directions, but just seem to get this to look like the picture. What am I doing wrong? :?
Well, I finally finished Clue #2. Now it's time to figure out Clue
#3. Le make know if anyone has posted a video for Clue #3.

Hi Denise,

At what part of the clue are you stuck? Which part isn't coming out right? Is it possible for you to post clue 2 with a photo and maybe by it we can help you.

Clue 3 was a little tuff but I was able to figure it out. I am learning to follow the diagram pattern which I really like. Here's a pic of my final motifs.

I was worried about the big "holes" in mine, but I see everyone else has a lacy motif, too...the only thing I find awkward is the row where you do the 7 chains and then double-back, so to speak.
