S o I think I might go to Lowes and see if they have some small diameter PVC or see if they have some sturdy wire that won't bend and doesn't have oil on the wire. Dowels are also another choice. My local hobby lobby doesn't have a large selection on double pointed knitting needles and I don't think they have ones that are 12 " long.
