Just downloaded the corrected clues and am ready to go get the yarn and get to figuring out this motif. I found out my Auntie and Uncle in Branson are fine, and the storms went north of western Tennessee so I am OK for the day! Just pray for us on Friday...they say the storms are going to be worse. Crocheting by lantern light is challenging!! Also, sometimes if the pattern seems too much, I write each step out on a line so I can keep track of each one and get through it without skipping something or getting lost and confused. Sometimes reading the directions and keeping track on the diagram helps too. Just go over everything, a couple times, and then start with the yarn. This is a bit more challenging than the last year one, but I like the motifs so far!! :D

Yep, I am right there with you. I have not even completed ONE motif of Clue #2 and I am reading over Clue 3 knowing that I don't have quite the skills as others. I am reading through all of the posts and copying/pasting the ones with decent tips/suggestions and hoping for the best.

I hope to eventually catch up...

I haven't been crocheting that long and always stayed away from patterns that didn't have the usual sc, dc, etc. stitches in them. Decided to give this a try and I am surprising myself and I'm sure you will surprise yourself also. I have found that taking my time on the first one helps a lot. I read the clue, do a round, read to check and then read the next and I have not had any issues. Also, reading the tips on the Forum has been a huge help too. I know you can complete this afghan and it won't be in July.

When the window comes up with the error message, click cancel, press F5 and refresh the page. Doing this worked for me. Hope this helps!

YAY!! Finally got Clue 3 to print!! :cloud9:
For those of you that are still getting the error message, try clicking OK on the message before hitting the F5 key to refresh the screen. That is what worked for me.
