And I thought last weeks clue was intimidating.

I was thinking the same thing!! Im headed into nightshift tonight......yarn in tow I've got ALL night to figure this out! lol

I promise you both it isn't as bad as it looks. Just make sure you have the updated download printed and follow the directions very carefully! Once you make one or two of them you will be flying through the others. I have FULL confidence in you both!

Oh, pleeeeeeese don't call it scrap yarn--that will hurt its feelings; refer to it lovingly as stash yarn--a much more noble name!!!

does yarn have feelings? if so some of the names *I* have called certain yarns over the years probably put it into therapy.

Gosh, my yarn might be injured as well.

A kindred spirit! I hate shopping too.....DESPISE it!

I just want to stay home and play with yarn. I only shop when I absolutely HAVE to.

But, I DO love YARN shopping!

Okay, if I am reading this right I am going to do 1 sc in the sc, then ch 1, miss the hdc and do 1 sc in the 1st dc, then ch 1, miss the 2nd dc, 1 sc in the 3rd dc, miss the 4th dc, then do 1 sc in next dc. There are only 4 dc, the next stitch is a sc, is that a typo?

Yes, that was an error that was fixed this morning.

Yeah! Funny thing is....I've known about this clue since the very beginning.
But, I couldn't say anything about it!

There were people that were saying how easy the CAL was. Now, they probably feel differently.

But, that's the way things go in these fun Mystery Blanket-Alongs.

I was so excited to have today off work so I could get an early start. But mother nature had other plans. Heavy snow overnight (still snowing), electricity went off at 8 am ... really did that have to happen! Electricity finally back on and clue is printed, I'm off to crochet!

Oh no! I'm sorry you had to go through that. So glad power is restored now.

I'm glad your power is back on, too! We had no power for 4 days when Hurricane Irene hit here in August, and then out for 2 days with that freak Halloween snowstorm (that actually caused way more damage than Irene). Happy stitching by electric light!

I'm also a lefty and found this clue really hard too! I've started it over several times. I have just reversed the diagram so it is backwards, meaning that if you are left handed you can now follow it going clockwise, the way I crochet. I'm hoping this will solve all my issues and maybe it will help other lefties out!

Thank you for posting this. I'm not really a reader of diagrams, but will find this helpful. I'll let you know if I end up reversing the post loop. Will be starting on this in a bit at my weekly knitting/crocheting group.

Yea!! Just printed clue 3. Can't wait to get started, after motherly duties. Last weeks was a little intimidating at first then whized right through it. I hope this weeks will be the same way. Love me some CAL!
