So now to follow so many of you with multiple projects I just started the mermaid tears bag. My daughter's birthday is in a month and this bag is right up her alley of style... she's quite the fashionist at the tender age of almost 7 turning 13

Woo Hoo! :D

That mermaid bag is very pretty. :inlove: I think a lot of people would like having one of those.

here are pics of the 2 blankets I made that christmas. I got both of them done in 3 weeks.

Beautiful blankets! Especially the Spiderman one. My boys would have loved that when they were little. They might even like it now! ;)

Having my husband type this because I was told not to do anything with my right hand. I had broken my ring finger a few months ago and found out I hand a non cancerous tumor on the same area that it broke. It healed but had to work on closing my hand so that the finger can get back to its normal way but that didn't happen apparently I hit my finger again :ire: and hurt it so bad :tears: that I can not do anything with it. I'm unable to do my beading or more the less crochet and I was look forward to this because it would have been the first time doing a crochet along. I have been reading the post and enjoying the pictures that I have seen so far and I want to let everyone that the colors are beatiful you guys are going to have a beautiful blanket.

Maybe next time I can join you guys in the next crochet along.

I'm giving in. I am going to start using stitch markers... ugh I hate stitch markers, but round 4 is just too darn hard without them.

I used the stitches markers on the 1st motif and found it was so time consuming putting them in and then removing them as you crocheted in the spaces, I decided not to bother on the remaining motifs. Doing it on the 1st one did help because on the remaining ones, I kinda knew where the ch 1 spaces would be. It's a great tip though.

I used small pieces of "other color" scrap yarn instead of stitch markers and found them to be easy to work to put in place, work around, and remove.

I have to say pg 2 of the clue helps me so much more than the instructions!! I love following thoses instructions so much more. This is becoming very interesting. Can't wait until it's finished!! :cloud9:

I just finished clue 2 this morning and was out in the yard all day. I guess I'll start this one tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to finish and can start on clue 4 Wednesday. That means I'll be all caught up.

I love Mystery crochet-alongs.

Someone mentioned earlier having a video of clue 3 made. Was it ever done? I am looking for it. I have made one motif for clue #3 but I'm not sure I did row 4 correctly. I would like to see a video that shows exactly where each stitch should go. I'm hesitant to continue making the rest of them until I'm sure about this.
