I've got all of mine done. This was a really pretty block! I've been getting ideas from the pictures where people used two colors. I think I know what my next project will be after I finish the CAL!

I would like to see a video that shows exactly where each stitch should go. I'm hesitant to continue making the rest of them until I'm sure about this.

I was that someone. I made videos of every round, but still have to upload them to YouTube.
I'm working on it overnight tonight, so a few of the rounds should be viewable tomorrow.

You'll see all the CAL videos I've made so far here:

I am just not in love with Clue #3 as I was with #2. :( At first I was hoping that I was doing something wrong but I went to the spoiler page and looked at all the pictures and I made it correctly. I'm sad that I am not liking it :( I'm having a hard time wanting to make more. Has anyone else felt like this?

I said something similar when I posted my finished pic. I was really into it until we had to fill in the space between the star's arms. Then it didn't look quite right. I like how some people did the block in 2 colours; I think it made the middle stand out more. Oh well. It's only a portion of the whole afghan, so I have to remind myself to trust that the whole project will look great!
that seriously bites, wanda! a couple of christmases ago I way overdid the crocheting in an attempt to get two whole blankets done in time to ship out of state for gifts, (yes, I made it) but i strained my crocheting hand so badly I had to take 2 weeks off from crochet. i about went NUTS!!!! I can't imagine having to give everything like that up for a long time. How long are you required to rest your hand? do you know?

here are pics of the 2 blankets I made that christmas. I got both of them done in 3 weeks.
Those are great blankets! Would love to know where you got the patterns!

I really love this clue and enjoyed trying to figure it out. I think you all may appreciate it more, once we put the afghan together. I loved learning the new stitch and I loved making the star. It kind of grew on me. :)

I have to admit, I was really ready to either give up or substitute Clue #2 for Clue #3, but I hung in there and I finally finished Clue #3. I am a new crocheter and doing intermediate Clues has proven to be a challenge, but I am really happy that I have been able to keep up. For all of you out there ready to give up, Don't .....keep going, you will be able to do it, it might just take a little longer!
