I agree as well. I love having the forums to turn to. It's great for the support, help, humor, and just general community feeling this project has. Plus, it saves my husband from having to listen to me talk about it 24/7... now he just has to listen 22/7 instead  I emailed him at work yesterday to let him know that I had 43 minutes until clue 4 was released, he decided I might have a problem and should consider a 12 step program for crocheting... and then pointed out that I should probably be working with the kids on school or cleaning up the house to get it ready for photos or packing a bit so we don't have as much last minute packing to do when we move in a few months..... he didn't seem to understand when I said, "BUT IT'S WEDNESDAY!! CLUE DAY!! How can anyone be expected to do other things on such an important day as clue day?!" :idonno:

Yay, I love love love popcorn stitches, :inlove: and I know my son will love curling up in this afghan on the couch and wrapping his fingers through the popcorns. :cloud9: Did one square last night (and then went back to the mermaid bag I'm trying to finish). I love my D color, can not wait until I see it all put together!

I couldn't decide on white or burgendy. I'll try again tomorrow

after seeing your pictures I would go with the burgundy, it's different and we haven't used contrast B yet, which looks to be your white and, since it's supposed to be for your son, the burgundy puts some masculinity into it.

Thanks for the response and you make a good point about making it look more masculine...I'll do it in the burgendy instead!

I couldn't wait to see how all my colors looked together - not sure if the brown is a little too dark though....
Also, the yellow looks a little lemony here, but its actually butter in real life ;)

Ok, here is my first attempt at doing a popcorn stitch. Compared to the other photos I think mine is off center somehow. Any sugestions?

Looks like round 2 is off, which makes round 3 off. The three clusters of popcorn stitches should be above each popcorn in row 1, with the ch4s inbetween. Looks like maybe your ch4s are in the wrong place?

I think it looks about right. Try sliding the stitches clockwise on the corners to make it a bit more square. :D
