Been hard to motivate around here the past week. It was 80 degrees in NE Wisconsin this weekend - absolutely unheard of for the middle of March in Wisconsin.

So, we've been doing a bunch of yard clean up and stuff outside.

By the time that we get back inside, who wants to pick up a crochet hook? Not me. So, I'm hoping for rain this week, so I can get back in the groove.

I totally agree, it has been very hard to motivate myself to crochet with the weather here in Connecticut being beyond beautiful. We all just want to be outside enjoying the close to 80(farenheit) degree weather. I have 3 more motifs to do on clue 5. I hear it is going to chill down this weekend so maybe I'll get more motivated to curl up with my yarn.

We're supposed to be back in the 50's this weekend and get some rain, so I can hear my yarn calling me for Saturday afternoon. Might be able to squeeze in a few squares during naptime today - might rain this afternoon.

Sick over the weekend and just getting caught up on emails - I saw this throw and thought it would be a good one to use up some stash yarn. I printed it out for future reference, as I need to get my motifs done for the CAL. I fell way behind with travelling last week and not bringing the right color yarns.

I got it and loved it! Tried a practice square and dang got stuck on row 4  , however I posted in the forum under the name of the throw and got help with how to do it. I'd like to make that one as shown and also with yellow to make it appear as sunflowers! If anyone else does this throw please post photos! I love looking at everyones work. :D

Yippee! FINALLY done with clue 4. Only 4 more squares for clue 5.

Really ticked me off when I realized that I misread the clue that we were supposed to use color C for and I had used B, instead. Guess my colors have now officially switched. But that clue would have looked really cool in Celadon.

Sigh.

MC 1 1/2 Skeins

I was concerned about my MC too. I have 1/2 skein left. Then my daughter told me I only bought 4 skeins of it. oops. But it does allow me to go back to the craft store.

Always a great excuse to go to the craft store. For me its sometimes like a staycation trip.

Went to the store to get more MC. Didn't have any :tears: Lovely daughter then told me that we got it at a different store and the reason I only bought 4 was because I bought all the store had. "Unfortunately" I bought more yarn, this time to do the 2010 CAL and once again I bought the store out of the color I loved.
