Clue 5 is
BUT, I must confess I had a lot of troubles with the last I crocheted .... mistakes at the end of rows .... and finally, I had no more yarn in the car (I have a conductor today !) to do a last one .....
and when I was back home, I realised that I had already crocheted 7 octogones .... and :tears: all the trouble I had was for this 7th one ! My iunconcious was trying to tell me that it was unnecessary ... :scared:

I'll frog it next wednesday when I know the last clue !

This is so much fun. I had to do another. I am donating this one to my daughter's dance school's auction. A is bright blue, B is Forest Green, C is light blue, D is light mint green. MC Yellow. (stash colors)

I was right at 11 inches. I can see how blocking could be really important in this project. I've never blocked before...

It looks so nice in ombre. What is that yarn?

It is not a Bernat yarn. I mixed yarns from a couple of different companies. This one is "High Plains Variegated" from Patons.

Nice, and it gave me the idea to try one in something similar in my next afghan.

I have my octagons done and I didn't run out of yarn either. Here is a picture of them. The color is sun drift.
