I laid out all my blocks this morning and end up with 6- 4.5 inch blocks left over. I have no idea how this afghan is going to be put together. I can't figure it out! :hrmm: Thought I had it but it didn't work. Sorry no picture as it won't fit on my camera view screen. It is too big for the view finder.

Has anyone else tried laying their motifs out to get an idea of what it will look like? :idonno:

I did. I posted about it in the Helping Hands thread.

I did finally figure it out (I think) but to avoid ruining the surprise I will not post a photo. It is a really cool lay out. I think, I should say, I could still be way off!

I used all dc on the final round including an extra dc in the sc between the chain spaces ( so it makes 13 dc, ch 2 repeat around). It doesn't look like it will need blocking, yay!

Thank you! I have been wondering why they didn't adjust the final round to make the sides more flat, I had decided to just adjust it like you have done, but thanks to you I already know how to do it. Your square looks great.

I have a crochet smiley that someone on the forum here posted. Here is the smiley Image

I'll try later on my computer to figure out how to send the design to you so you can use it.....on my iPad at the moment.

Thanks for trying. I guess the image is copyrighted so if you post it here the Bernat company would be liable for payment or something. AND Shandeh would get in trouble if she didn't remove it. We need to wait until the Bernat Co. stops discriminating against crocheters. ;) ;) Anyone want to start a petition???

It looks to me like Photobucket removed it. I didn't touch it.
So, apparently, it's copyrighted by Photobucket.
We found a crochet smiley, and I sent it to Kaleigh. She must be busy busy busy with lots of Bernat stuff.

Sorry, Shandeh. Not trying to put you on the spot. I guess I didn't realize that the Photobucket people could have that access. I am a rank beginner at computer stuff and thought that the removal was you being efficient. Frankly I'm in awe how you handle so much. I guess my backhanded humor was misplaced. Sorry.

Here is my block #6. I really like how it has turned out and especially love it when you see it with all of the other blocks. This blanket is going to be really lovely. Each block is so unique and your eye really has a hard time just picking one to stand out. Can't wait to put it all together!

Playing with the blocks a little bit, but not with all of them! :)
