OK- it took me a while to reduce the file size of my photo...here is clue 6. I am so looking forward to Wed. to view the final layout. I went with Town & Country colors. Will try post all photos soon. :hellogoodbye:

Here's my version of Clue 6.

I wanted an afghan that was a bit heavier and less lacy .. so a random internet search for crochet octagons found me a small pot holder that I liked the look of and I just modified it a bit and then expanded it by adding 3 rows of my own to make it 11".

That's a bad picture of Birch White by the way ..looks very beige/pink in that photo.

Everybody's clues look so pretty! I love the colors everyone has chosen. :bravo: And all the little tweaks and changes that people are making make each afghan unique and special. I appreciate all of the labor and talents of the designers. I know too having designed a few small patterns myself that I kind of enjoy seeing what people do with my patterns. How they change it and make it their own in ways I probably wouldn't ever think of. It just makes the whole thing more fun.

I can't imagine what the remaining clues will be or how all of these will fit together. I can't wait to see how this is going to turn out in the end!

CAL Clue #6 001.JPG

I finger-blocked mine after each round and the finished piece is holding its shape.

Hi Mz Molly!! I really like your clue 6 better than the one posted. The messy flower in the middle totally throws this one out for me. Is it possible that you would be willing to share the pattern you did for this one? I've only done 3 of the clue 6 so I'm not too worried about frogging those few. Great job!!

50 shades of Grey and my musical production's tech week and opening weekend has kept
Me away from crocheting for over a week, but here's my clue 6 round 4 question:
I'm a lefty. Am I bringing in my hook from the back to the front in that sc space, pram I just going right Into the sc as normal? The lateness of the hour does not help at this moment, either.
Thanks!!

It looks to me like Photobucket removed it. I didn't touch it.
So, apparently, it's copyrighted by Photobucket.
We found a crochet smiley, and I sent it to Kaleigh. She must be busy busy busy with lots of Bernat stuff.

Sorry, Shandeh. Not trying to put you on the spot. I guess I didn't realize that the Photobucket people could have that access. I am a rank beginner at computer stuff and thought that the removal was you being efficient. Frankly I'm in awe how you handle so much. I guess my backhanded humor was misplaced. Sorry.

You didn't offend me at all, my friend. :D
I just wanted everyone to know that it was done by Photobucket.
They probably have a way of blocking external links from their protected images.

Each block is so unique and your eye really has a hard time just picking one to stand out. Can't wait to put it all together!

Playing with the blocks a little bit, but not with all of them! :)

As always, your work is GORGEOUS! :inlove: :notworthy: :inlove:
