My favorite part is the simple flower in the center. Reminds me of the flowers I used to draw when I was little. So, this blanket will be very special to me.

How sweet! I remember drawing those too. :-)

Enough main color left to finish

Postby crochet67 » Mon Apr 02, 2012 7:18 pm

I just finished clue #6. I have 1.8 oz left of my MC. Is this going to be enough? If not, I have to order(and wait) for it. It is not at my local Michael's. I had to make the 2 motifs of clue #6 out of it. If this is not going to be enough, I think we should have been told to get 6 instead of 5. All of my motifs are coming out to the correct size. With the cost of postage now days I am not looking forward to ordering only 1 ball of yarn (if only I needed something else.)

What's your MC? Maybe look on Ravelry to see if anyone has stash that they're willing to trade for or sell.

I'll double-check the amounts and try to see if 1.8 oz is enough!

I checked with the designer and it sounds like the border will take approximately 40g of MC.

That said, please keep in mind that everyone has different tension and some people will need much more or much less.

If you have 3/4 of a ball or so, you should (on average) be fine, but if you have less, you might want to buy another ball to be safe. You could always use a different color for the border too! We'll discuss this more when I release next week's clue.
