I can only say how very disappointed I am with the layout. I don't feel that much design effort was put into the different pieces, simply because they don't have the same number of stitches on their edges. I am an experienced crocheter, and am still fussing with corner joins etc. Maybe I'm too fussy!? Anyway, I had to order my yarn on-line, so I won't be changing any colors...I'm just scrapping the whole thing.

I'm sorry you are disappointed. Sometimes our projects don't appeal to everyone. But, thank you for participating!

I can't wait to finish seaming mine! I had to put it away so I could study for exams but it is definitely nice to take a break and look at everybody's pictures!

:hellogoodbye: I'm finally finished my weaving, and ready for the border. Took me awhile, my youngest grandson was out of school for the Easter Holidays. He's 7 and this afghan is for him. I had to change the flowers, so it wouldn't look to girlie. He loves it and can't wait for it to be finished so he can take it home. He picked out the colors and I think he did a good job.

I really like this layout! He did a great job picking out the colors and I hope he treasures it for years to come!!

I scrapped my original as well. I've frogged every motif and plan on making the mitered granny square blanket with the yarn. I only had to supplement a little bit of yarn so it wasn't that big a difference. I love the way my colors look in the mitered granny square motif. I believe it will make a beautiful blanket.

I was playing around with my layout and liked switching up things just a little (as someone else did earlier) with putting the popcorn squares on the 'outside' rows.



Now to get them seamed together.
