I kind of wish I had moved the colours around a little, as I don’t like the green flower, but I think it will look fantastic with the colours in my livingroom. I’m going to see what else I can do for the border. I think sc is kind of boring and anticlimactic.

Woo Hoo! Isn't it wonderful when we learn new things? I learn something new with every Bernat project I make.

Here is the first of my two CAL afghans. This one graced my mother's casket at her funeral on Monday, April 9. She did not live to see it finished but had seen all the colors that I was using in it. I am planning on gifting it to my aunt who was a wonderful sister-in-law and friend to my mother and also graciously opened her home for me to stay close to my mother, as my mother's house was tiny and my sister was already staying there. As you can see from the pictures....my "helper" was enjoying the afghan. She loves my projects!

I really learned a lot during this project. And I've been crocheting for over 40 years (*gasp*) How to loosen my tension, blocking (better), double treble the proper way ;) , different way to seam... I'm sure I'm missing some things but THANKS to Bernat and all the people helping throughout. Now to just 'get r done'

Ok, I officially cannot decide. I would love some input from you folks.

Here are my 3 options.

The second one I stole (borrowed sounds much nicer, but let's call it what it is) from tjwjlove - aka "the stained glass" one. I would replace the 3 coloured Clue #1's with the white.

The long narrow one is a variation of that...bed scarf style. It's hard to see, but the sides taper down to a point.

And of course, the official layout.

I tried daverett's patterned granny to test also. Ahhhhh so many possibilites. My biggest thing is to try to kill some of the blankness of the mc. It is such a creamy-yellowy white that it almost looks dirty to me.

Please help, guys and dolls!

I like the stained glass with the green in the middle. :) Happy seaming! I *just* finished!
