Then I would remove that pin and continue sewing until I got to the next one. It really went quicker having it on the table then on the couch.

When I get all done putting the rest together, weaving in the ends, etc. I realize that I sewed one in the wrong place. It was the one I had thought I needed to make yet. So I have this odd shape on one side and need to find the seem end so I can remove it. I guess that's what happens when I am watching TV until 2 am.LOL
I had a similar problem...I'm seaming with a horrible cold, running a high fever. I'm seaming in no particular order, just slapping it together as the color on my yarn needle requires. I finish one section, go onto another, and realize at the beginning of the previous section I attached one along the wrong side of the octagon..it's all puckered.
ggrr. rip rip rip. start over.
i'm about 3/4 done seaming. Hopefully I'll finish tonight after the kids are in bed.

My sister and I have decided to place this CAL afghan on her coffin when she passes in lieu of a flower spray, thanks to a suggestion from our aunt. If you look back with my posts, the colors are my non-Waverly yarn which are totally my mother's colors. I will post a picture of the afghan when I get it completed. Thank you to all of the Bernat Forum members who have sent me encouraging messages and letting me know you are praying for us. All ya'll are the BEST!!
Quick update.....Mom passed away this morning peacefully and in her sleep. I am 3/4 of the way through seaming the afghan together, will have it done tomorrow and ready for the funeral on Monday. It will be borderless for the funeral but that is fine.
