Finally finished mine! I had a hard time deciding on a border so I kind of created my own.

I thought I was finished, but after seeing lialab's afghan border, I decided to add that to my afghan.

So, I added another sc row and the flowers she described how to make. I don't have anywhere to lay it all out right now, but here's a photo of part of it:

Gallery .. Continued............ It folds so nicely! Hee Hee! I know got carried away with the photo posting but I finally figured it out and I am proud of the results. There are several that I keep going back to look at and I am looking forward to seeing even more beautiful afghans as they come in! Such talent! Thanks again to all. Azim

I just wanted to let you know that I just love your layout and the colours you put together! It makes me want to make another one of these and use your layout! Good job and I do hope you post a picture of your daughters afghan too!!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! This is a very warm and supportive group. You are welcome to enjoy the layout and colors. I did have limited choices for yarn types here though I believe I would have fared better ordering on line. The organic cotton is yummy though! And it was great to work with. I seem to be drawn to natural fibers like bamboo, silk, wool, and cotton...... My only thought for you would be to try to add a muted/ dusty - rust, wine or eggplant somewhere. Azim
