So, I added another sc row and the flowers she described how to make. I don't have anywhere to lay it all out right now, but here's a photo of part of it:

Wow, you did a great job! :bravo: I know I am not impartial, I love this border  Your blanket looks beautiful :cooldude:

Thank you lialab! As soon as I saw your border, I was thinking it would go so nice with all the flowers. Now I think I have a flower garden. :)

Azim wrote:Hi, :hellogoodbye: Thanks to all for sharing. It's been a real pleasure reading the posts and seeing all the beautiful afghans. I don't know how you guys and gals find the time for all the posting (with all the crocheting going on!) but I am oh-so-glad you do! So maybe I'll share a bit too.......

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! This is a very warm and supportive group. You are welcome to enjoy the layout and colors. I did have limited choices for yarn types here though I believe I would have fared better ordering on line. The organic cotton is yummy though! And it was great to work with. I seem to be drawn to natural fibers like bamboo, silk, wool, and cotton...... My only thought for you would be to try to add a muted/ dusty - rust, wine or eggplant somewhere. :D Azim
