Seriously.....I have no idea! All my efforts over the years have been pretty futile. Sometimes washing it with fabric softner helps loosen the bond between the cat hair and the yarn. Then put it in a dryer with no heat and a dryer sheet..... but it's not like you can brush it off or anything.
