I finally finished my second CAL!!! I really like the way it came together!!
Now I have two beautiful afghans and I have to decide which to keep and which to give away!! I just dont have room for two!! I hope whoever gets it loves it as much as I do!!

Here is my completed second afghan. I did two rows of single crochet around the outside, per Bernat's original directions to not detract from the great motifs in the afghan.

I can't believe it, I actually finished it!This is the first afghan I completed. I usually get side tracked and the squares remain my craft room waiting for the rest of the motifs to be finished or simply sewn together. Thank you Bernat, admins and designers for producing this wonderful CAL! Here is a pic of my finished afghan. I do still need to wash and lightly block but I am posting now because I am just so darned excited!

Here is the first CAL I did. When it was first finished I wished I had chosen the colors differently. Now that I have looked at it for a while, I am in love with my new afghan!

And...here is the second one I did for my daughter. She picked out the colors. It was made from scraps of other afghans I have made for her throughout the years so it has a little more sentimental feel to it for her. I checked on her this morning before she woke up and she was snuggled with it on her bed!

YAY! I got done today and here it is.
I used all Bernat yarns, using the color chart assistant to put my colors together. Pictures do not always come out in exact color. The colors I used are Sundrift (tan), Willow (green), Incense, Bitter Rose, and Porcelain Red.

This was a very interesting and rewarding event. Thanks to all of you with the staff for putting this together and thanks to all of you crocheters who were so advisable, knowledgable, and informational. I have enjoyed seeing all of the creativeness and reading all of your stories, good or bad
