This is my first Mystery afghan and I am a novice crocheter. This is my finished afghan. I learned so much. I tried things I did not think I could do. I enjoyed the process tremendously. I am disappointed in the out come, but I really enjoyed the experience. Thank you.

Shandeh wrote:If you haven't already noticed, I created a separate post, which has all the photos of completed CAL blankets. No comments can be made to that thread. This makes it easy to see all the blankets.

Enjoy!

(So far, I have listed all the photos that were posted through 4 PM (EST) of Saturday, May 4th. I will continue adding photos to that page, as I see them here.)

Thank you for the view post of all the blankets. I enjoyed seeing them very much! I'm going to try to post mine now that it is finished too!:cloud9:

May I add my voice to the chorus of 'Thank You to Shandeh' ... It was a nearly impossible job to view the finished afghans but she has made it so much easier ... streamlined, would be a better word ... to view and get a feel for preferences in each of the categories. What a monumental job it must have been but so appreciated! Also, the quality of the finished products is a great testament to the guidance from Bernat as well as the very efficient and 'spot-on' suggestions from participants. The folks, who unselfishly shared their experience in giving advice and clarifying details, made this a memorable CAL ... a great advertisement for cooperation among crafts people. Another CAL will definitely be on the radar for me, as well as many others, by the reports.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you ... to all!

I am so inspired by everyone's afghans and creativity! They turned out so beautiful. Early on I was very inspired by daverett!! His design kept me trying to work the color out. I decided to just do the 2 colors. I love to crochet and it is amazing what can be made..I learned a lot with this pattern and appreciate the charts, written instructions and videos...Thanks Bernat and Shandeh!!!

Here is mine..I just finished it. Today is a sunny day in Oregon, so I took the picture outside. Caramel the pug supported me through the whole process!

I used Waverly 'Willow' and Bernat Mosiac 'Fantasy' (this afghan is for my Mom) I would love to make another with my favorite color 'Breath of Blue' and the 'Fantasy'....(the mosiac yarn is my favorite for now and I have made lots of hats! )

Clue # 6 was my favorite!!!

Thank you, Bernat, for sponsoring this event, and for the yummy soft Waverly yarn! Thank you to the moderators, participants who have been so helpful to anyone frustrated with this, and to all of the wonderfully talented ciber acquaintances. My main frustration was putting the final layout together! I have photos of many possibilities, including using an alternate color for the center motif, but the final looks great in our home in the mountains, believe it or not! And you all thought mountain homes were full of "animal" colors! HaHa! Anyway, I posted the final on Flikr with a detail of the edging, and here it is! That is, if it will load properly! If not, it is on Flikr, svmatt.

I love your blanket! The colors go so well together, and the arrangement really makes them shine! :cooldude:

Thank you for the comments, Shandeh! I have already taken it to the mountain home, and it looks just fabulous!

Wow! Very nice and feminine. :inlove: :bravo:

Thank you, crochetfanatic. I am beginning to go into withdrawal, not knowing what to do next to "stay in touch!" Guess I can pop over to another forum and project, right?
