I love what you've added to the border. It really makes it stand out. Your blanket turned out very nice. I love the green with the brown. :bravo:

This is my first Mystery afghan and I am a novice crocheter. This is my finished afghan. I learned so much. I tried things I did not think I could do. I enjoyed the process tremendously. I am disappointed in the out come, but I really enjoyed the experience. Thank you.

I don't know why you would be disappointed in the outcome--it looks great and the colors are beautiful. None of my first projects ever looked that good and they were much easier to do than this afghan. I'd say you did a super job!!!

My Goodness! I FINALLY finished my beast tonight! ...and I say that with all the affection in the world

I struggled alot with my border...and came up with something that I thought would accent the laceyness of the piece. The individual pieces were blocked as I did them, but I realize I should block the entire piece because of how I did the border.....just have to find a big enuf area to do it in....the bed is too small (as you can see...)

thanks to Bernat and those on this board for the advice and direction....I will definately do one of these again!

Wow, how striking!! :bravo: This looks so nice on the bed; and I just love your border.

thanks! had lots of fun doing this.....and of course went off track with the design (as per usual)

If your photo is on you computer, scroll to the bottom of the forum page and click "post reply." You will see a message box where you can type a message and under that there is a tab that says "upload attachments." Click that and browse to get your photo info into the "filename" space. You can add a comment that will show up under your photo if you write it in the "file comment" space. Click "add the file." Click the "preview" button and it should be in your draft. Click submit.

I can't help you if your photo is not on your computer since I have never done it any other way. Good luck.

Oh, I'm so glad you appreciate my work! :cloud9:
When I was making the pages for the KAL and CAL finished photos, it reminded me of my earlier days as an executive assistant. Lots of typing and organizing. It was nice to get it finished, and I enjoy looking through all the blankets myself.

I cannot be nominated as most helpful, because I work for Bernat. :) But, I certainly appreciate your kind words! Makes me feel loved and appreciated. As for the time I spend on the forum, I am sort of a work-aholic, I guess. I just like to be busy. When I'm not on the forum, I teach piano lessons, practice piano and organ for church, go to choir rehearsal, perform for church services and weddings and funerals, and I occasionally compose my own music. I also spend a lot of time knitting and crocheting, and reading books. And I also love to shop at thrift stores, consignment shops, antique stores, craft stores, and yarn shops. I'm a very busy person, but I like it that way. ;)

You are loved and appreciated! It sounds like you enjoy life no matter what you're doing. Thanks again for making it easier on all of us!
