Wow, Donna! I love your colors; it is so rich-looking. The red really makes the flowers pop! I'm glad you got it in on time for the contest because this definitely deserves a nomination. Great job! :bravo:

I decided to just do the 2 colors. I love to crochet and it is amazing what can be made..I learned a lot with this pattern and appreciate the charts, written instructions and videos...Thanks Bernat and Shandeh!!!

Here is mine..I just finished it. Today is a sunny day in Oregon, so I took the picture outside. Caramel the pug supported me through the whole process!

I used Waverly 'Willow' and Bernat Mosiac 'Fantasy' (this afghan is for my Mom) I would love to make another with my favorite color 'Breath of Blue' and the 'Fantasy'....(the mosiac yarn is my favorite for now and I have made lots of hats! )

Clue # 6 was my favorite!!!

It is always nice to have a "helper" and your afghan is beautiful.

I am a novice at posting comments. This if for Azim's afghan on page 57.

I absolutely love your placing of the pieces. It is so stunning and looks Victorian. Love, love love. I have not started the afghan yet, I found out about it when it was in the last stages. I look forward to imitating your placement with a different color scheme. Thank you for the inspiration.

Hi there, ShirtgirlVA! I am so sorry that you missed this experience. it has been quite a journey. It's amazing, the variety of styles, color combo's, borders, and layouts that this talented crocheting community has produced. Also the nurturing and kindness that is in every post. It is my wish for you that you can participate in the next one! So with, thanks I appreciate your kind words!!! Please notice that I modified one of the small squares and used it to accent the edge. To make it work for me I kept one of the "corners" but rounded the other three corners by evenly spacing the double crotchets all around and back to the corner. The shape was a teardrop. They fit in the spaces left by two octagons. Thanks again!
:D Azim.
