My first time too. I'm excited but nervious that I won't like the finished product. I took a look at the last one (2010) it was beautiful. Now to pick the right colors!

I purchased the Bernat 'town & country' group of colors that was suggested, but didn't write down which color is contrast A B C or D. Can someone help me with this, please? I know which is the MC as I bought 5 skeins of that color. lol

I think that A B and C are all the same approx amounts and D is a bit less although you should have bought 2 skeins of A B C and D. So it is up to you which color you want as your "pop" accent color.

ETA: another thread posted that for the CAL is MC 49%, 14% for A B and C, and 9% for D

This is also my first time doing a CAL/KAL. I have two color schemes to choose from depending on what the first block looks like.

Is there any way these can be joined as we go???? I also hate joining but have found if I join as I go it is not too bad.

I read through the Waverly Color Tutorial, and found this discussion by one of the Waverly interior designers.

Hello, Yes, that would be what I was referring to, but now I see that won't work anyway because I chose antique as my main color. Oh well, I'm really anxious to start this afghan,
