I have to say I'm really loving working with the Waverly yarn. I also love most of the colours! I can't wait to use it for future projects!

Agreed! I LOVE this yarn! I love the way it works up and the way it feels when I'm working with it. I ordered another set of colors to do the CAL for myself since I'm doing the first one for my MIL.

That will keep you busy!! How are you doing with Clue # 2? I'm having a really hard time with the guage.

Mine is much smaller than the pattern notes, but it is the same size on the edges as my clue 1 (which is also a little smaller than the blocking template) so I think I'm good. I crochet really tight, though, so my afghan will be a little smaller all around.

Color Distribution Question

Postby bthasns » Thu Feb 23, 2012 2:38 pm

I finally managed to get my printer working this morning and discovered that all of my blocks from week 1 and the first block from this week are all too small...so back to square 1 for me :scared: . My question...I noticed another post that stated colors A, B, and C were all used in equal amounts throughout. My question is about color D. Is it used as much as the others? If not I'm thinking about switching a couple of my colors around. Thanks!

Color D is not used as much. It is an accent color. Some people refer to it as a "pop" color.

Oh I think I am going to change my colors around too. I let my daughter choose the order of the colors and she choose a dark green for D. I think I am going to change it to the dusty rose.

I read in the first info stuff, (maybe the color selection) main color 48%, A, B, and C all 14% each, then D was a contrast for 9% usage.
Hope that helps.
