Oh, happy day! My yarn arrived today, also. Have touched, squeezed, sniffed it, put it in a new purple bag, and now I'm just waiting...

Looks like a lot of us are "chomping at the bit", waiting to get started. I still need to do my gauge swatch, so I'll have to set some time aside and do it soon!! We won't have to wait too much longer. I'm hoping my computer doesn't decide to give me problems when the pattern parts start coming.

Hello ! I crocheted last CAL, and was very proud of the result !!!
The choice of colours was not absolutly perfect because I used a mix of yarns from my stash, a natural wool and a thin contrasting other, knitted together, and some details of the clues disappeared with the mix .... but I'm the only one here who know that ...
I'm sorry for mistakes in English - or American ... I don't know if somebody remember of the Frenchies crocheting with you ?
Now, I'll go to my yarn stash, and prepare all I need for the CAL AND the KAL (yes, I'm also a knitter, "nobody is perfect!")

Hello,

I participate for the first time at a CAL. I could also take part in a KAL but I prefer to participate at a CAL
I'm from France and, like any good French, I do not speak very well English ...
I look forward to receiving my yarn and start with you ....
See you soon
