We haven't made any big announcements yet, but you may notice some new yarns and new shades of some of your favorite yarns on our website. Enjoy... :hellogoodbye:

I had been noticing the label change. Much cleaner and simple looking.
I can never understand when a Yarn is changed why they don't also change the name? Bernat Softee Chunky. Will the old one still be available or is it going to fade out? Seems strange, the logo is different but the spelling is the same. Could end up causing more confusion. They should have named it Bernat Softee Chunkier. Cut the confusion out before it starts!
And still no mention of Handicrafter Scrubby.

The new Bernat Softee Chunky will be replacing the old one in this case. I love the new one though - a great texture and gauge. Softee Chunkier would be a great name!

Bernat Handicrafter Scrubby is actually a promotional item only available in limited stores. Once it is available to a wider audience we'll be posting it up on the site.

I was lucky enough to get to my local Micheal's on the weekend and pick up several different colors of Handicrafter Scrubby. It was double the price of the regular Handicrafter :o, not a big surprise at this store.
Micheal's had the cutest little sample dishcloth/scrubby with a Bernat promo hanger/label but there were no leaflets with the pattern available, or even if it was available. I sure hope that Bernat puts that pattern on the website when they put the Scrubby yarn on the site. It would make really nice little "something extra" gifts.

If it was the dishcloth that looks like a daisy, you can find the pattern on the Michael's website. Just type Daisy Dishcloth into the search box.

I am so excited! I noticed awhile back how the in Waverly interview said there were six families but Bernat only had 4 families. Now I look at Waverly and see they added 2 more families! Yay! And Purple (Thistle) is among them!! whoot whoot! So excited. Now I need to find someone who sells it since ordering online is just too expensive!!
OK, only one purple, but one is better than the previous none!

Modern Essentials
55611 Rays
55417 Rosy Pink
55320 Thistle
55134 Bicycle Blue
55738 Bahama Blue
55021 Cement
55006 Vanilla Float

Cultural Rhythms
55009 Buttermilk
55015 Gingerbread
55016 Cork
55029 Cinnamon
55237 Billiard Green
55514 Curry
55532 Claret

Should point out so someone can correct it, it still says this;
4 beautiful families inspired by Waverly Fabrics make pairing colors easy
Should reflect 6
