Bernat LOVES Plus Sizes!

Postby Shandeh » Mon Sep 24, 2012 10:17 pm

Did you know that all the new Bernat designs for women include directions up to size 5X?

I've made several Bernat designs for myself, in size 3X, and have enjoyed making each of them. It's so nice to know that their new designs will always include my size. :cloud9:

:hellogoodbye: I'm so glad there making my size. I always have trouble with the top half. :( Never can find anything to fit them.

All your projects came out so good and fit you so well. I might just try making something for myself. Thanks for the info.

I'm with you 100%! :D
Give it a try, and use a simple pattern, with a yarn that isn't too expensive.
It makes it easier to relax and fix mistakes, if you use an inexpensive yarn.

Beautiful sweaters. They look way out of my realm of expertise at this time but can't wait till I can make something like one of your sweaters!

You can do it! Less than 10 years ago, I didn't even KNOW how to knit!
Just be patient with yourself. Start with small projects to learn the basics. Make lots of dishcloths, trying out different stitch designs. Then, make a baby sweater, so you'll understand how to seam and make a garment. After that, you will know everything you need to know about making a nice sweater.
