Urban Revival Slouchie Beanie

So, I'm pretty much done with the body of the hat, but I'm stuck on how to close the hat. I get confused by the description they give on the pattern and I can't manage to understand it. It's probably really simple but I really need some help figuring this out. I'd really appreciate it.
