I'm making this now. Joann's had all their yarn for 25% off plus I had a 15% off coupon on my phone good on the entire purchase. And I found a small selection of Waverly! They had about 6-7 colors and only 6-8 balls of any of them......except Sundrift. So I bought all they had....10 balls. Would not have been my first choice but I like the way it's working up. I think the deeper colors show the pattern better, but this goes with my family room furniture better. And the bonus..... I have a dog with hair the same color, so it won't show on this blanket. LOL. I'm about one ball into it and its going pretty fast. Hubby likes it and has claimed it as his. it's ok. I owe him one after making the one for our son a while back.

I'll second that! This is just a few hours of work. Maybe 10 or so. I'm not a real fast crocheter, and there have been a couple of nights when I've only spent about 30-45 minutes. Bought the yarn and started it on dec 30, but have not worked on it every night.
