I started on Saturday and *Thought* I was doing okay. But somehow I have ended up with extra stitches!!! I just went through this whole thread and saw the tip about using the stitch markers so I am going to frog what I have done and re start.

I am using Mauve Glow, Fresh Flower and Princess. I can only work on it at night when DD has gone to bed. I have a couple of Crochet projects on the go to keep me busy in the mean time :)

I have said it before and I will say it again.

I love Waverly!! I just ripped out my afghan to the border and 1st 3 rows. It was so easy to pick up the stitches. Didn't drop a stitch at all. I love that I don't have to redo these 7 rows. Can't wait til tonight to get back into this afghan.

I love Waverly too! :inlove: What a great yarn! I think you will have much better luck with your afghan when you put the stitch markers in between repeats. I know I did. Happy knitting! :knit:

The stitch markers are great. In the past, I would get to the end of the row and realize that I made a mistake somewhere. It would get frustrating. I used to say that my signature on the piece was the mistakes. Now, I know exactly where I made a mistake and can fix it immediately. My stepping waves afghan turned out to be one of my best. Good luck with yours. Please post pictures. :knit: :knit: :knit:

The stitch makers are making such a difference. I am counting at the end of each stitch pattern repeat and am able to quickly see where I added or forgot a YO. I am onto the 3rd colour. It is a rainy day here so I might make my DD play upstairs so that I can work on it. I will try to post a picture in the next few days

Here is what I have done so far. Once you get the rhythm it is a fair easy afghan. I am enjoying it.

I am not confident about the colours but I know my dd (7yrs old) will love it

:bravo: Looking good. I agree about the rhythm. Once I got going, it was easy. And, I do like the colors. They pop.

I think those colors look sweet together. Reminds me of candy!
