No Mittenmaker I actually just crocheted it. One of the few things I can do with a crochet hook. I have done
i-cords before in fact that has become my prefered method for ties on hats. The old fashioned technique of spool knitting updated and a lot quicker.I've never tried it for mittens but it is a great suggestion especially for little ones who tend to pull on them. [Read our 2 1/2 year old G. Grandson.]
