Feather and Fan Afghan

Postby BuckeyeMom » Fri Sep 28, 2012 8:33 pm

Just started the Bernat Fan and Feather Afghan. :knit: I am using light and medium greens, mixed green ombre, and white. The pattern calls for 11 different colors. I decided to change the colors and order of colors. It is an easy pattern to follow. Will post pictures when I am farther along and the color pattern is more noticeable.

This will give you an idea of the colors. After I finish the white (24 more rows), I will repeat the light green, the medium green, and the mixed green hombre. That will finish the first half. Then, the second half will repeat the color pattern. I noticed yesterday that the colors are similar to needlenut's Stepping Wave Afghan. It is purely a coincidence. The yarn I am using is all stash yarn.

very pretty! I must remember this when I am ready to use up my big stash. I'm taking a break now, shoulder injury is severe. But boy I do love knitting and crocheting! This forum has made me realize this even moreso. I love browsing though all the pictures of people's work too and patterns on-line. :hellogoodbye: :cloud9:

Poor zhanie! You concentrate on letting that shoulder heal, my friend. While you are in therapy, you can spend time here with us, sharing your advice and encouragement. And post updates on your shoulder situation as well!

I finally finished. :cloud9: I had some trouble getting a good shot of it. :hrmm: So, here it is. Not too sure about the Green Ombre in the middle. I wish I went with a solid, lighter color.
