Entrelac Blanket

I am more winging mine than anything but it's coming along alright - I pieced together a bunch of Waverly yarns I had laying around so it's pretty obnoxiously colored. It's a working progress but for the most part getting there. The last side needs it's solid border. Then the outside needs an entrelac border around it - it'll probably take forever but for winging it off the fly I'd say it's coming along well I'm SOOOO glad the non rectanglular shape it started to take fixed itself once I started to do the 3rd side!

Your Entrelac Blanket is Beautiful. Great job. It takes a long time to get thru a blanket like that, but when its finished it Beautiful. I love it.

Beautiful work! Those colors remind me of the argyle socks and vests I used to see back in the 60's and 70's.

Done for now.. It is 40x36.. Ill add later once I get my Christmas list all finalized.. This picture might show the colors better.
I offered to finish up a sweater for my Gram (she had half a sleeve done and quit lol).. But I chickened out when I realized Ive never made a garment that needs to fit.. I decided I need to make myself a sweater to ensure I can make something that fits before I use her expensive yarn and screw up.

You could always try making a baby sweater, or a doll sweater, to practice fitting.
That would be quick work.

wow! Love how that worked out. You did a fantastic job. Entralac is one stitch that scares me! looks like it takes forever to get anywhere!

You should try Crocheting entrelac - I found that easier but I also crochet better than I knit. Knitting entrelac really isnt tooo bad there are some really awesome books out there - I will see if I can remember which book I used but it showed everything step by step
