I was out shopping for some stuff at Walmart the other day, and saw a skein of Bernat Boa in the yarn section. (I always look at the yarn when I'm there....OF COURSE!) Bernat Boa is such a silky, soft yarn, so I reached out and fondled it a while. Then, my hands dropped the skein into my cart, all by themselves! :cooldude:

So, it's time to start a little project with that yarn. It's the color "Peacock", which has lots of blues and purples. I'm leaning toward making this Boa Collar, but I think I'll just use a button closure instead of the satin ribbon.

I recently finished knitting some quick simple slippers, using Bernat's free pattern here:
http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=4756
I added a single crochet border around the opening, and embellished it with an uncut pom pom.

About a week ago, I finished knitting this Cable Baby Sack.
Free pattern: http://www.bernat.com/pattern.php?PID=6865
I left the bottom open, until I decide who to give it to. I will let the parents decide if they want it closed or not.

This past summer, I crocheted a couple of these sweet little Flutter Sleeve Vests, using Bernat Giggles yarn. I just love how soft that yarn is, and it works up very quickly.

And if you've been following along with the rest of our KALs and CALs here in the forum, you've seen me making these:

Carolinian Shawl, using Mosaic yarn.

I'm also making a scarf for the Red Scarf Project, for an orphan who is aging out of foster care. I'm using some vintage Bernat Nylo Germantown yarn I have in my stash for this scarf.

Yeah, and those are just my BERNAT projects!
I'm also making some Christmas gifts, and a stocking for a customer, using fingering weight wool.

Shandeh, thank you for posting the pictures of your work! WOW, I love them all! :cloud9:
I have made the slippers (those uncut poms on yours are delightful!) and I love that pattern.
The baby sack is definitely an heirloom. The cardi is breathtaking!

Thanks for the love! :)
I'm hoping to cast on a cabled cardigan soon, from the Autumn Knits book. I already have the yarn.

Shandeh -- you're welcome! What color yarn did you choose for the cabled cardigan?
