Hi everyone,
I made it to north wales with the chunky cable blanket in Bernat chunky yarn. It is a present for my cousin an I was wanting to make a label with her wedding date on it for a present. But not sure how to do this . Does anyone have any advice for me?

If you need it quick, you could use fabric paint to write on a fabric label, and sew it to the back of the blanket.

I've never tried it though, so that's just an idea. Good luck!

I made a label once using a small piece of counted cross-stitch cloth...16-count....or something like that, and just cross stitched the message, and date on it. Folded the edges back, and then hand-sewed it onto the end of the blanket. After numerous washings, it is still in place and the once scratchy label has become very soft. It probably took about 30 minutes to make.

I used a piece of 18 count cross stitch Ribband on a baby quilt and crossstitched the name and birthdate on it. I handsewed it diagonally across one corner of the blanket.
