Baby Batwing Sweater with Matching Dress

Postby Disneylandgrammy » Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:47 pm

When my youngest daughter was a baby, I kniited her a matching batwing sweater and dress. It was just adorable. I cannot find my pattern. She was born in the early 1980's so it would be an old pattern today! It was probably published sometime in the 70's I would say.

Does anyone have such a pattern by any chance. I have looked and looked through all of my patterns and can't find it. I would love to make it for my 3 new granddaughters.

If you can help, please do. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

You might want to check on Ravelry.com. They have a ton of patterns, old and new. They also have a large group of helpful members. Membership is free.

Hi,
I do have a pattern from patons that is called lace dress and cardigan. That is for 9 to 12 months. The dress has cable for the skirt and the sweater looks like bat wings. If you are interested, let me know. I have the french edition, but I can translate it for you. :reading:

Yes, I would love the pattern if you can translate for me. You are wonderful, sounds like the one I am looking for. I knew is was either Paton or Bernat. Wasn't sure. My email address is disneylandgrammy@yahoo.com.

Thanks.
