Thanks shandeh! I put video in My Favorites on my browser. I have problems finding the center pull-out and many times I just use the end under the yarn band, and of course, the skein gets caught on things, flops around, and all kinds of other bothersome things happen. :ire: I just figured that some yarns don't have a center pull-out strand. I didn't think that it could be hidden inside skein!

Shandeh, I think of you every time I start a new ball of yarn and I have had much less tangles since I took the time to hide the little end under the label:) thanks :cloud9:

Zhanie--I do the same thing--think of Shandeh now when I do the yarn ball surgery :) And now I know why you hide the outside end under the label! I was wondering how to prevent the tangles!! :hrmm:

I had a sad tangle with a ball of Satin.
I have pretty much always used this method to find the inside end strand. Today though, this ball had a mind of its own! Take a look! I have crocheted 2 rows in the afghan with it and still no end to the tangle in sight. I will not give up hope though, this does happen rarely.
I have noticed on Satin balls my inside blob is almost always a blob, but usually managed before the middle of a row of an afghan, not this sucker!
