There ARE A LOT of e-mails! I have quickly learned to delete as they come the ones I know I am not doing, for example who received their swaps, projects I am not working on, etc. So that may be an inconvenience but overall very nice group and they post a lot of photos of things they have created. Never a shortage of project ideas!

well that's true! I've been in a yahoo group for knitting but I haven't been active in it for some time now. That'll soon change!

Re: Questions

Saw on one of the sites and I cannot remember where about a "paint by number" or "stitch by number" on Ravelry site. Now of course I can't find it. Any info would be appreciated. I would like to see this.
Thank you,

Saturday night, tonight, is the deadline to join. Looks like fun. I think you are on your own about colors etc. so might be great way to use up some stash yarn.
Here is the link if you want to sign up for the group in general, and then sign up for the mystery lapghan.

I joined that group (had a lot of trouble with yahoo) and I finally finished the CAL there. Sort of, I decided I didn't like rewriting all the 6 inch squares to make them work so I quit making more and just sewed the 9 I had finished together, added a border and it is fairly huge, so I am not disappointed that I didn't make the last 3 squares. I never intended to keep this blanket at all, I made it with some old yarn my brother had bought but gave to me when he quit crocheting, so it was unknown yarn (from Spinrights scrap table) And I highly doubt whomever does end up with it is going to say, 'omg, she didn't finish it, I don't want it now!"
