The pattern has the following gauge: 16 dc = 4 inches and rows 1-12 = 5 inches
I have the following gauge: 18 dc = 4inches and rows 1-12 = 2.5 inches
How do I fix this problem? Do I go up two hook sizes or one hook size? I think their row gauge is incorrect. I don't see how you can get that gauge in the pattern for rows 1-12.
The pattern is as follows: odd rows chain 3, dc across -45 stitches
even rows: chain 1, skip next stitch *dc in following stitch, slip stitch in next stitch repeat from * across.
