Holiday Projects

It's that time of year again! So many fun things will be happening from now until the end of the year.

What holiday projects are you working on?

I'm planning on re-knitting the yoke of my Christmas sweater which I made last year, because I want to wear it this season. I'm also working on two blankets and some slippers as gifts for my family.

Great choice! That will be fun to make with the Boa yarn. I just love how soft that yarn is.

I am going to attempt to crochet the Holiday wreath with the Boa yarn. But I think I may need some advice regarding how to find the stiches after chaining...

I've knit with Boa yarn before - never tried to crochet with it. There is a base thread all through the yarn. You will probably have to feel the stitches to find those chains.

Thank you. I think I may use those little circular markers and put one in each chain to strart. A lot more work, but it should get me beyond the finding those pesky 'lil chains.

I finished my Bernat Holiday Slippers. They are very comfortable. This was a fun project.

I finished my Bernat Diagonal Pillow. I used the Bernat Boa in Holly Green and Santa's Suit. I really like the colors. I love the way the pillow came out. Its so soft and pretty, I might just have to leave it out all year long.
