I was in the same predicament last year as you are now...too many projects and not enough time. I was only 3/4 done with the scarf that I was making for my daughter-in-law last year. So on Christmas morning, she opened up her present to find a skein of yarn with a picture attached of the scarf that should have been in the box. I was tempted to include a crochet hook, but I thought that was pushing it! :rofl:

I had a marathon sewing session last night and got the last 60 squares attached today's goal is to get the border done and blocking over night

Boarder is on and will be blocked in the morning. Now 3 sock monkey hats and the ends of another blanket to tuck and my Christmas hooking will be done

Your Mario blanket came out great! Looking at the two pictures you posted, it's looks reversible. What method did you use for connecting the squares together? I am in the middle of an afghan that is 70 squares, and I'm torn as to what method to use so that it doesn't have a right and wrong side to it.
