I made a terrible booboo

Postby karenarp » Thu Oct 11, 2012 11:41 am

I was working on this baby blanket my neighbour asked me to make her newest grand daughter and I was on the sixth row of the border, nearly done it, when I realize I accidentally flipped the blanket over at some point! OMG! Can you say frustrated! This border has been giving me a heck of a time and I thought I was on the home stretch finally. Then this goes and happens. I haven't been brave enough to try and figure out how far back I booboo'ed, instead I have tossed it to the side while I work on my Peacock Feathers afghan, to give me time to cool down. I would just remove the sixth row and call it done if this was my own project, but this is for a friend who asked me to make it - she knits, she cannot crochet.

It is a wonderful pattern too, I would have loved to make it again for my future grand babies or a shower I may be invited to. After this booboo I am not so sure I ever want to repeat this pattern! (Heartwarming Wrap by LA)

Oh NO!!!! :rainy:
I just HATE when things like that happen.
I hope you can come up with a good solution, my friend.
These kinda things happen to all of us, from time to time.
I'm sure your friend will understand if you explain the delay in finishing the blanket.
