They are all one big, happy family. :knit:

Thanks Shandeh! I have heard and worked with all except Phentex. :knit: :cloud9: I have never heard of Phentex; it is not available in stores that I haunt. :idonno: I will check it out online! :reading:

I made it with scrape yarn from other projects I made for them. The pattern I found on Ravelry. It originally came from Paton's website. :hrmm: (I wonder if it is related to Bernat because the website is exactly like Bernat's.) :hrmm: I improvised with the yarn I had on hand. The hat is made with Bernat Baby Jacquards. It is just a basic stocking cap made smaller.

The cap is precious, Buckeyemom. I love how Bernat Baby Jaquards worked up!

I've come across several Phentex yarns at Big Lots or other bargain stores. But, my favorite is Phentex slipper yarn, which has antibacterial properties. I order that yarn from Canada, to make long-lasting slippers for my family.

My bosom friend! :D
I'm a bit like "Monk". Carry hand sanitizing wipes with me everywhere.

Here's a link to buy Phentex Slipper Yarn in the Bernat Shop.
By the way, each skein has a free pattern on it.

This stuff is like INDESTRUCTABLE. And it feels cushy on the feet. It's a little rough on the hands, though, so take it nice and slow when making them.

Baby vest in Lily Sugar 'n Cream

Postby Annelies » Sun Mar 24, 2013 7:50 am

I made a baby cardigan with the great Lily Sugar 'n Cream. I got the yarn from a friend who sells it in her webshop, and I totally love it!!! The colours, the structure of the yarn, it works up very nicely, I am totally happy with it.
