satin fingerless gloves

I have tried this pattern so many times!!!! No problem with the cables or the ribbing but everytime I yon or slip 1, k1 and psso, it leaves a whole in the glove that is not attractive. anyone else having a problem with this pattern?

A yarn over (YO) always creates a hole in a knitted design. It is a lacy feature.
If you do not like the look of the hole, you can use a different increase at that point.
A KFB (knit front and back) might work, but you will still need to do the skpsso (slip, knit, psso) after it.
