Help with pressed Bernat baby blanket

Postby Evelyne » Tue Feb 28, 2012 8:50 pm

I finished off a Baby Blanket in Bernat Baby Coordinates wool (the one with the silver thread thru white) & mistakenly pressed the blanket instead of blocking it as I should have. It is now very flat & lifeless. Does anyone know how to restore it to it's original beautiful fluffy shape & texture ?

It sounds like you have "killed" the acrylic. That happens if too much heat is applied to acrylic.
I'm sorry that happened to you. I don't know of a way to fix that.
